If you want North Korean food, you don’t have to head all the way to Pyongyang.

For most of us, North Korea is a country that we will never visit. As a result, many aspects of their culture are foreign to us, apart from whatever we see in dreary documentary footage.

But if you want a little taste of North Korea, you can actually eat at a North Korean restaurant. This is because the country operates restaurants in China, Vietnam, Malaysia and other countries, with each one serving authentic North Korean cuisine.
